Welcome to Piximap ("we," "us," or "our"). By accessing or using our website www.piximap.com and purchasing our products, you agree to be bound by these Terms and Conditions ("Terms"). Please read them carefully before using our services.

1. General
These Terms apply to all orders placed with Piximap for custom-designed, printed-on-demand posters. By placing an order, you confirm that you have read, understood, and agree to these Terms.

2. Order Process
a. Design Submission:
Customers are responsible for uploading their own designs. We do not review or edit designs for content, accuracy, or legality. It is the customer’s responsibility to ensure that all designs comply with applicable laws and do not infringe on the rights of others.
b. Order Confirmation:
Once you place an order, you will receive an email confirmation with the details of your order. Please review the order details carefully. If you notice any errors, contact us immediately. We are not responsible for errors in orders that were not corrected before production.
c. Production:
All orders are made on-demand according to the design specifications provided by you. Production times may vary based on order volumes and production constraints of our printing partners and other factors. While we strive to produce and ship your order as quickly as possible, we cannot guarantee specific production or delivery times.

3. Payment
a. Pricing:
All prices are listed in the indicated currency and are subject to change without notice. The price you pay is the price displayed at the time you place your order, plus any applicable taxes, and shipping charges
b. Payment Methods:
We accept payment through the payment platform supported by Shopify. Payment must be received in full before your order is processed.
c. Taxes and Duties:
Customers are responsible for all applicable taxes, duties, and fees imposed by their local authorities.

4. Shipping and Delivery
a. Shipping:
We ship worldwide using third-party carriers. Shipping costs are calculated at checkout based on the destination and shipping method chosen.
b. Delivery Times:
Estimated delivery times are provided at checkout but are not guaranteed. Actual delivery times may vary due to factors beyond our control, including customs delays, carrier issues, and other unforeseen circumstances.
c. Customs and Import Duties:
International orders may be subject to customs inspections and import duties. These charges are the responsibility of the customer. We are not responsible for delays caused by customs or for any customs duties or fees.

5. Product Quality
a. Color Accuracy:
We make every effort to display colors as accurately as possible on our website. However, due to differences in monitor settings and printing processes, we cannot guarantee that the colors of the final product will match what you see on your screen.
b. Print Quality:
We are committed to providing high-quality prints. However, the final print quality may vary based on the resolution and quality of the image you upload. We are not responsible for poor print quality resulting from low-resolution or poor-quality images provided by you.

6. Returns and Refunds
a. Custom Orders:
As all products are custom-made based on your design, we do not accept returns or offer refunds unless the product is defective or damaged upon arrival.
b. Defective or Damaged Products:
If you receive a defective or damaged product, please contact us within 14 days of receiving your order with photographic evidence of the defect or damage. We will work with you to resolve the issue, which may include a replacement or refund at our discretion.
c. Order Cancellations:
Orders cannot be canceled once production has begun. If you need to cancel your order, please contact us as soon as possible.

7. Intellectual Property
a. Customer Designs:
You retain all rights to the designs you upload to our website. By uploading your designs, you grant us a non-exclusive, royalty-free license to use, reproduce, and modify your designs solely for the purpose of fulfilling your order.
b. Piximap Content:
All content on our website, including text, images, logos, and graphics, is the property of Piximap and is protected by intellectual property laws. You may not use our content without our express written permission.

8. Limitation of Liability
a. No Guarantees:
While we strive to provide excellent service, we do not guarantee that our products will meet your expectations in terms of color accuracy, print quality, or delivery times.
b. Limitation of Liability:
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Piximap shall not be liable for any direct, indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from the use of our website or products, including but not limited to damages for loss of profits, goodwill, use, data, or other intangible losses.

9. Governing Law
These Terms are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of Canada. Any disputes arising from these Terms or your use of our website shall be resolved in the courts of Montreal, QC, Canada.

10. Changes to These Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. We will notify you of any changes by posting the new Terms on this page, and we will update the "Effective Date" at the top of these Terms. Your continued use of our website after any changes indicates your acceptance of the new Terms.
